Bronwen's parents Jayne and Haydn said shared decision making - when healthcare professionals involve a patient's trusted relative or friend in decisions about their treatment and care - should become the law.

"Me and my mum play this game where she has to say in English and I have to say in Romanian."Mirela Popesceo moved to the UK in 2018 and takes her two children to the school including four-year-old Emma-Maria."She barely speaks Romanian to be honest," she said.
"We are trying to speak with her at home, but she has been at nursery since she was one, so her language is more English than our native language."We would like her to learn Romanian because, when we are going on holiday to see the relatives and the grandparents, it would be nice for her to understand a little bit."
A special constable is due in court charged with the harassment of a woman he knew over a three-month period.
James Mouzoure, of Taunton Road, Bridgwater is alleged to have used text, phone and social media messages to harass the woman between August and October last year.A man who spent more than a decade building up a collection of more than 100,000 images of child sexual abuse has been given a suspended prison sentence.
Adam Dodden, of Wiveliscombe in Somerset, was handed a 12-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, at Taunton Crown Court on Friday.Avon and Somerset Police said: "These images depict the worst possible forms of child abuse and those perpetrators who access them create a market for further images to be produced."
The 40-year-old was also given a 10-year sexual harm prevention order.The court was told that in 2024, Avon and Somerset Police established that indecent images of children were being downloaded by someone at a Wiveliscombe address.
